Our campus ambassador program is student-led and community-powered. Here’s how we’ll support you once you raise your hand.

Connect + Train

Selected leaders join a virtual onboarding to co-design their launch plan with NovaPride mentors.

Bring Nova to campus

Host gatherings, share wins, and report impact back so we can amplify your work nationally.

What you’re committing to

Financial support you can count on

Every ambassador receives personal compensation plus dedicated event funding and bonuses so your impact stays sustainable.

Program guidelines

Before applying, please confirm you understand that ambassadors:

  • Participate as independent volunteers, not employees
  • Must follow campus posting and event policies
  • Never collect financial information from students
  • Represent the program but not NovaPride in official capacities

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be LGBTQ+ to apply?

We prioritize LGBTQ+ students—especially leaders of color, trans, and gender-expansive folks. Allies committed to advancing queer financial wellness are also welcome to apply.

What if my campus doesn’t have an LGBTQ+ resource center?

That’s exactly why our campus ambassador program exists. We’ll equip you with programming, coaching, and logistical support so you can create space even if none exists today.

Can I apply with another student?

Yes. Co-leads are encouraged. Each person should submit their own application and mention their co-lead so we can review your plan together.

When will I hear back?

We review applications on a rolling basis and aim to respond within two weeks. As a founding cohort member, you’ll get priority onboarding with dedicated training, 1-on-1 mentorship, and the tools to launch your first event within 30 days.
